Experience Indo-Japanese cuisine by Inja at Hyatt Centric Juhu

The event in collaboration with Sesame will feature a blend of Indian and Japanese cuisine

Hyatt Centric Juhu has announced a culinary event to celebrate its second anniversary. The property will host the world’s first Indo-Japanese fusion restaurant, Inja, in collaboration with Sesame from August 24 to August 25, 2024.

The Indo-Japanese pop-up event promises an unparalleled dining experience, blending the rich flavours of Indian and Japanese cuisines. It will feature unique and innovative dishes that reflect the harmony of two distinct culinary traditions.

Shilpi Khanna, General Manager, Hyatt Centric Juhu, stated, "At Hyatt Centric Juhu, we're all about pushing boundaries and delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests. In celebration of our second anniversary, collaborating with the visionary team at Inja for this pop-up is the perfect embodiment of that spirit. We're thrilled to offer our guests a chance to experience the unexpected – a fusion food adventure that's as bold and innovative as Mumbai itself!"

Inja's Chef Adwait Anantwar will lead the culinary charge, collaborating with Sesame's culinary experts to curate a special seven course menu. Through extensive research and experimentation, he has balanced the delicate flavours of Japan with the complex spice profiles of India.

“I am thrilled to bring INJA's unique Indian-Japanese cuisine to Mumbai for the first time, in collaboration with Hyatt Centric Juhu. This pop-up is an exciting opportunity to share our innovative flavours with Mumbaikars. I can't wait for everyone to experience this special fusion,” stated Chef Adwait Anantwar.
