Shangri-La Eros New Delhi will host a special pop-up event featuring Chef Puja Bansal, highlighting the vegetarian culinary traditions of Old Delhi from October 17 to 19, 2024, at its restaurant, Tamra. Known for her expertise and involvement in prestigious cooking competitions, Chef Puja aims to celebrate the region’s rich cooking heritage, rooted in her connections to Chandni Chowk.
Guests will experience a diverse menu that includes innovative beverages like Amrood ki Shikanji and Gulab Sharbat, alongside a variety of starters such as Kalmi Vada and Aloo e Tabahi. The main courses will offer a selection of Vegetarian Mughlai dishes, including Gravy Mangochi and Shahi Matar Badam ki sabzi, as well as notable Bania cuisine like Torai Ki Tehri. The meal will be complemented by a range of traditional breads and chutneys.
The dining experience will conclude with a selection of classic Indian sweets, such as Gulab Shahi Tukda. This event aims to introduce the flavours of Old Delhi's vegetarian cuisine to the local community.
