Virgin Atlantic introduces menu featuring Indian cuisine

This special menu combines modern British cuisine with authentic Indian dishes, offering a variety of indulgent and wellness-focussed options for all passengers

Virgin Atlantic has launched its Autumn and Winter menu, highlighting the flavours of India at 35,000 ft. This special menu combines modern British cuisine with authentic Indian dishes, offering a variety of indulgent and wellness-focussed options for all passengers.

Key offerings include Lamb Dahwalla, aromatic lamb curry with tomato and coriander okra, served with flaky paratha, Mutton Lal Mass, a spicy Rajasthani mutton dish in red gravy, accompanied by zafrani pilau, green pea masala, and dal tadka, Paneer Makhani with creamy paneer in buttery tomato gravy, served with bhindi masala, channa dal, and tadka pulao and Vegetable Korma, a vegetarian curry with a mix of vegetables in coconut sauce, paired with almond basmati rice, saag masala, and naan.

Passengers can also enjoy a selection of beverages, including spicy chai tea and a new welcome drink for Upper Class called "Manipura." Additionally, Economy and Premium customers will have access to Lucky Saint, a non-alcoholic beer.

This menu launch aligns with Virgin Atlantic's expansion in India, offering five weekly flights between London Heathrow and various Indian cities, along with codeshare connections to 34 additional destinations through IndiGo.
