Polo Orchid Resort unveils new banquet and wing

Polo Orchid Resort has officially opened the Mawsmai Ballroom, Cherrapunji's first banquet hall, alongside a new wing that adds 33 luxurious rooms, bringing the total to 58. The inauguration was led by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, with the presence of Tourism Minister Bah Paul Lyngdoh.

Located in the scenic village of Nohsithiang, the resort's new facilities aim to enhance Meghalaya’s appeal as a destination for weddings, corporate events, and luxury getaways. The Mawsmai Ballroom features 6,000 sq ft of space, accommodating up to 250 guests for various events. The new accommodations include diverse room types, such as waterfall deck suites and a presidential sky pool villa, all offering views of the Seven Sisters Falls.
