Dusit Hotels debuts in Malaysia with Dusit Princess Melaka

It features a range of accommodations, from Deluxe rooms with city views to a luxurious Presidential Suite

Dusit Hotels and Resorts, under Thailand’s Dusit International, is set to make its Malaysian debut with the soft opening of Dusit Princess Melaka on December 7, 2024. Located in the heart of Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage City known for its cultural vibrancy and historical significance, the hotel marks Dusit’s first venture into Malaysia.

Positioned to cater to the growing influx of international travelers, especially from China and Singapore, Dusit Princess Melaka blends Thai-inspired hospitality with contemporary elegance tailored for both business and leisure guests.

The 296-key hotel, formerly the Ramada Plaza Melaka, has undergone a refurbishment to align with Dusit’s upper-midscale Princess brand. It features a range of accommodations, from Deluxe rooms with city views to a luxurious Presidential Suite, all designed for comfort and relaxation.

“We are delighted and honoured to unveil Dusit Princess Melaka, bringing our unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to Malaysia for the first time,” said Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer, Dusit International. “This opening represents a significant milestone in the ongoing expansion of Dusit Hotels and Resorts. With its distinctive blend of comfort, convenience, and heartfelt service, we are confident the hotel will not only become a preferred destination for travellers but also provide an enriching gateway for guests to connect deeply with Melaka’s vibrant history and culture.”

Guests can enjoy diverse dining options, including Zest, offering all-day buffets, and Long Feng, a local favorite for authentic Chinese cuisine and dim sum. The hotel also boasts a gym, a large swimming pool, and state-of-the-art meeting facilities, including a grand ballroom accommodating up to 1,000 guests.
