InterContinental Marine Drive has announced the appointment of Mandar Jamsandekar as its new Rooms Division Manager. With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he is known for his expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Jamsandekar’s career began as a Management Trainee at Sun-n-Sand Hotel, India’s first five-star beach hotel. His dedication and pursuit of excellence saw him rise to the role of Executive Housekeeper, a position he held for over four years while consistently achieving outstanding guest satisfaction.
Joining InterContinental Marine Drive over two years ago, Mandar has been instrumental in maintaining cleanliness scores exceeding 93 per cent on Medallia throughout the year and achieving an impressive 93.68 per cent in a recent Brand Standard Audit. His meticulous attention to detail has reinforced the property’s reputation for excellence.
As Rooms Division Manager, Jamsandekar aims to enhance guest experiences through personalised service, operational efficiency, and innovation.
