The Westin Mumbai Garden City appoints Raviraj Joshi as Executive Housekeeper

The Westin, Mumbai Garden City has appointed Raviraj Joshi as Executive Housekeeping. Bringing a wealth of experience to the role, Joshi has been a result-oriented and customer-centric professional throughout his career. His tenure as the Housekeeping Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, which commenced in March 2015, has been marked by notable achievements and contributions to the establishment's success.

Joshi's journey in the hospitality industry began with Oberoi Hotel where he served as a Housekeeping Supervisor at The Oberoi, Mumbai, from June 2008 to December 2010. Later he started his journey with Marriott Hotel as a Housekeeping Executive at Marriott International (Renaissance Mumbai) from January 2011 to December 2012. After completing the Managers development programme, Joshi moved to Courtyard as Assistant manager of Housekeeping.  

Joshi served as the Assistant Manager of Housekeeping at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai from January 2013 to March 2015. During this period, he received accolades such as the Manager of the Year Award for 2013 and Manager of the Month awards, underscoring his commitment to excellence. In the courtyard, he had spearheaded and executed numerous projects with resounding success.

"Raviraj’s commitment to professional development is evident through his completion of various training programs, including the Foundations of Leadership program, Embark, and the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Marriott International. His noteworthy achievements include receiving Manager of the Month awards in June 2013, December 2016, November 2018, and March 2022.

Educationally, Joshi holds a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration from Welingkar Institute of Management Studies (2013) and a Bachelor of Hotel and Tourism Management Studies from Mumbai University (2008).

As he takes on the role of Executive Housekeeper at The Westin, Mumbai Garden City, Raviraj Joshi remains dedicated to delivering exceptional service, fostering a positive working environment, and contributing to the continued success of the esteemed establishment.
