HILTON CHENNAI appoints Chef Surya Narayana as the Executive Chef. He brings over 18 years of culinary experience with him including extensive wealth of knowledge of cuisines such as Italian, French, Mediterranean, Spanish and Mexican in Western, Hyderabadi, South Indian, Punjabi, Awadhi, Gujarati and Maharashtrian in Indian, Cambodian, Thai and Vietnamese in South Asian along with Detox, Wellness, Delight, Allergen and Vegan styles of cuisines.
Surya possesses rich culinary experience that defines his culinary skills to create food which is cooked from the heart to craft magnificent dining experiences for guest and team members. At Hilton Chennai Chef Surya will focus on developing the skills and effectiveness of all kitchen employees through appropriate training, cross training, coaching and mentoring. He will continue to experiment with the freshest and finest local ingredients, creating new seasonal dishes and spend time researching and studying on healthy foods. Also, chef will focus on overall food and beverage success of the hotel and guest satisfaction scores, wastage control and high profitability without compromising on guest product.
Surya’s last assignment was at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort as Executive Chef and when he’s not in Kitchen, he likes to be on the road, cycling and keeping up with his fitness routine.
