Sofitel Mumbai BKC appoints Viraj Kadam as Executive Housekeeper

Sofitel Mumbai BKC has appointed Viraj Kadam as their new Executive Housekeeper.  Kadam began his career at The Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport in 2010, as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. In 2017, he joined The Westin Mumbai Garden City as Executive Housekeeper, his most recent role before becoming a part of the Sofitel Mumbai BKC family.

In his roles, Kadam has actively been responsible for team training, coordinating with operations departments to ensure smooth handovers of rooms, understanding and supporting loss prevention policies and procedures, supervising daily shift operations, helping to ensure exceptional customer service, analysing monthly MIS reports with a focus on budgets and actual consumption, and working in tandem with the HR department to support training initiatives for all current and new associates. 

Kadam has achieved a BSA (Brand Standard Audit) score of 100.8% in 2023 at his previous role, becoming a Master Certified Departmental Trainer by APEC L&D. Additionally, he possesses two years of experience in spa and rooms management. He has also been routinely awarded Manager of the Month/ Year awards at both prior roles.
