JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the appointment of Dev Thakur as the new Director of Food and Beverage. Thakur has demonstrated leadership within the Food & Beverage division throughout his decade-long career. With a background at hospitality brands such as The Leela Palace Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hyatt International, Hilton Hotels and Accor Hotels, Thakur brings an experience in luxury, business hotels and destination resorts. 

His experience has honed his skills in optimising operational efficiency, devising successful F&B marketing strategies, fostering a dedicated and well-trained team, crafting culinary experiences, setting high service standards and prioritising guest satisfaction. Furthermore, Thakur is well-versed in navigating the dynamic and competitive nature of the industry.  

In this pivotal role, Thakur will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s culinary offerings, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests. By spearheading the hotel’s food and beverage operations, Thakur will play a crucial role in further elevating its reputation as a premier destination renowned for its exceptional gastronomic offerings and is poised to reach new heights of culinary excellence.
