Ravindra Suvarna takes over as Assistant Director of Finance at The Westin Mumbai Garden City

The Westin Mumbai Garden City has announced the appointment of Ravindra Suvarna as the new Assistant Director of Finance. With over 17 years of extensive experience in financial management within the hospitality industry, Suvarna brings a wealth of expertise in financial operations, strategic planning, and leadership to his new role.  

His career is marked by a steady rise in responsibility, having worked across several key positions within the Hyatt group. His journey from Assistant Manager to his most recent role as Finance Manager at Hyatt Regency Thrissur reflects his dedication to excellence in financial operations.

In his previous roles, he demonstrated outstanding leadership in overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. His work in financial analysis has been instrumental in identifying trends and opportunities for growth, while his expertise in internal controls and tax compliance has ensured that the financial operations under his supervision remain compliant and efficient.

Suvarna is poised to bring his forward-thinking approach to financial management. His strategic vision includes optimising financial systems, improving cost control measures, and ensuring that the financial operations align with the broader goals of the organisation. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding the finance department towards greater efficiency and long-term sustainability.
