Hilton appoints Aditya Shamsher Malla as General Manager of Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks

Hilton recently appoints Aditya Shamsher Malla as General Manager of Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks. With over two and a half decades in hospitality, Aditya has gained rich experience in hotel operations, sales and marketing. Having worked with prominent Indian and International brands, including Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Taj Luxury Hotels, Shangri-La, Hyatt Regency, Westin, Four Points by Sheraton and DoubleTree by Hilton.

He is credited with spearheading sales and marketing for some of the finest luxury and MICE hotels and delivering operational excellence as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Pune Chinchwad where he worked with his team to consolidate the hotel’s position as a market leader in RGI as well as recording some of the highest guest satisfaction scores and a top five rank on TripAdvisor.

Malla is an alumnus of Delhi University, graduating with honors in Economics. He went on to pursue a PGDM in Human Resources from IMT Ghaziabad.

A voluntary participant in industry initiatives, Shamsher has contributed as Vice President of Poona Hoteliers Association (PHA), President of SKAL International Kolkata, Managing Committee member of SKAL Hyderabad and Mumbai, Tourism Committee member of CII in West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.

In 2020, Malla was recognized in the Forbes List of Top 100 Great People Managers for his people initiatives in a study by GMI, an associate of Great Place to Work Institute.

In his new role, Malla will be focussing on the strategic direction of the 247 rooms Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks, a 247-room hotel offering a unique combination of an upper upscale full service hotel and a residence. He will lead the team to take Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks to the next level in its journey of being the preferred destination of business and leisure travelers as well as diners.
