Ashley Nunes appointed new Executive Chef at Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield

Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield has appointed Ashley Nunes as the new Executive Chef. With an impressive background in the hospitality industry, Chef Ashley will oversee all culinary aspects of the hotel, including menu planning, overseeing food quality, team management, cost control, creativity, and activating collaborations.

As the Executive Chef, he will work towards fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective communication, delegation and coordination. Chef Ashley will also collaborate closely with other departments, such as event planning and marketing, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of culinary operations and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality food.

Chef Ashley brings to the table an extensive collection of culinary knowledge encompassing an array of cuisines and cutting-edge culinary techniques through his 17 years of invaluable experience working with prestigious luxury hotel brands across India. He has previously worked in several reputable establishments, including Hilton Goa Resort, Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Nashik, JW Marriott Juhu and Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Chef Ashley has won multiple accolades due to his deep understanding of various cuisines and culinary techniques such as the Times Food Award for best all-day dining restaurant - Hilton Goa Resort, 2021 and a silver medal in the Mumbai Hotelier Culinary Challenge.
