Courtyard by Marriott Agra has appointed Utpal Kumar Dey as its new Executive Chef, bringing over 18 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry to the role. Chef Utpal aims to elevate the hotel's dining experience with his expertise and innovative approach to food.

With a rich background in kitchen operations, food production, and menu planning, Chef Utpal has worked with renowned brands including JW Marriott, Novotel, and DoubleTree by Hilton. He specialises in Continental, Oriental, and Indian cuisines, with a flair for creating seasonal dishes that prioritise quality and innovation. His hands-on style ensures precision in every dish, balancing flavour and cost without compromising on taste.

Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Agra, Chef Utpal served as Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Raipur and Pride Plaza Hotel Kolkata. His leadership in these roles earned him several recognitions, such as “HOD of the Year” at Courtyard Marriott Raipur and “Manager of the Month” at JW Marriott Kolkata.
