Shashank Menon appointed General Manager of Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kolkata

Howard Johnson By Wyndham in New Town-Kolkata, India has announced the appointment of Shashank Menon as the hotel's General Manager.

In his new role, Menon will serve as a brand ambassador, providing leadership and direction to all hotel departments. He will be responsible for driving sales, marketing and financial goals, ensuring the hotel's success.

Before joining Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kolkata Airport, Menon was General Manager for Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, a property owned by Louvre Hotels Group in Bangalore. In this capacity, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, maximising sales, marketing and revenue while achieving strong financial returns.

Menon, originally from Cochin, Kerala, holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Business Administrations: International Business Management Institute Berlin and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Alison, an Irish online education platform, in partnership with the Institute of Continuing Professional Development UK. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Catering Management from the Confederation of Hotel & Catering Management UK - IAM-Kolkata.
