Hemant Tenneti takes over as Cluster General Manager for The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake & Lakeside Chalet, Mumbai – Marriott Executive Apartments
With an eminent track record in spearheading hotel operations across South Asia, Hemant Tenneti now takes on as the Cluster General Manager for The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake and Lakeside Chalet Mumbai - Marriott Executive Apartments.
Tenneti’s wealth of experience spanning two decades in the hospitality sector is a testament to the passion and vigor he has in creating the perfect guest experiences, and this puts him in an ideal position to elevate these hotels as the definitive urban resort. He has held various leadership roles within Marriott International, most recently leading the Operations Discipline for South Asia as Senior Area Director of Operations. Tenneti will be at the helm of day-to-day operations in his new role, ensuring personalised, high-quality service to all guests and will continue to offer a home base for locals and travellers to explore Mumbai.
Hemant joined the company in 2011 as the Director Food & Beverage at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre and Marriott Executive Apartments, Mumbai, transforming a complex Food & Beverage operation into an award winning one. He then moved on to his first General Manager role, leading the Courtyard by Marriott Chakan Pune. In 2016, Tenneti was promoted as the Area Director of Operations for South Asia and in the last six years, he has held many responsibilities including Franchising and Select Service hotel operations.
