Raffles Hotel Le Royal, the 95-year-old luxury heritage hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia has appointed Dagmar Lyons as its new General Manager. The hotelier joins Raffles from Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, Canada, where she served as Hotel Manager for the past two years. Prior to that, Lyons was Hotel Manager at Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, China, and Deputy General Manager at The St Regis Doha in Qatar.
Her hospitality career includes successful postings at numerous luxury hotels and resorts around the world, including in North America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Lyons led Fairmont Pacific Rim to a Forbes Five-Star rating for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024 for both the hotel and spa.

She joins Raffles Hotel Le Royal as the hotel continues to garner accolades and awards from many of the world’s leading travel authorities. Raffles Hotel Le Royal features 175 spacious rooms and suites that underwent a full refurbishment as part of a one-year restoration project in 2019.
