Marriott International appoints Mohammad Sahanawaj as Head of Catering Sales & Banquet Operations in Mumbai

In his new position at Marriott International, Sahanawaj will focus on elevating the guest experience and driving business growth in the catering and banquet sectors

Marriott International has announced the appointment of Mohammad Sahanawaj as the new Head of Catering Sales & Banquet Operations at their Mumbai property. He brings experience in hospitality, with a strong background in managing catering sales and banquet operations across some of the industry’s leading hotel brands.

Sahanawaj’s career in hospitality began at Taj Hotels, where he completed his internship and vocational training in Food and Beverage. He then progressed through various roles at Sayaji Hotels Ltd in Pune, from Hotel Operational Trainee to Assistant Manager of Catering Sales. Following this, he joined the Radisson Hotel Group, managing catering sales and overseeing food and beverage outlets in Udaipur and Pune.

In his new position at Marriott International, Sahanawaj will focus on elevating the guest experience and driving business growth in the catering and banquet sectors.
