Healthy Home Quarantine Recipe: Vegetable, Sprouts & Oats Cutlet

While the frontliners are risking their lives to flatten the curve of pandemic outbreak, we all need to sit tight at our homes and play our part to fight the crisis. Staying at home can be tough at times and people are tapping into new hobbies to cope up and some of you are entering the kitchen to try new things.

So, here is a healthy and easy home recipe for people who are working from home in quarantine.

Ingredients

Quantity

Chopped Carrots

20 grams

Chopped Beans

20 grams

Green Peas Crushed

20 grams

Homegrown Sprouts

100 grams

Cottage Cheese Grated

30 grams

Oats Powder

40 grams

Cumin

5 grams

Ginger Chopped

5 grams

Green Chilly Chopped

5 grams

Salt

As required

Hing

As required

Peanut Oil

For shallow fry - 20ml

Fresh coriander chopped

Few Sprigs


Method

  • In a pan put peanut oil. Add Cumin, Ginger, Geen Chillies, Hing and Sauté well.
  • Add carrot, beans, peas and sauté well till tender.
  • Add Turmeric, sauté and remove from flame and cool it in a plate.
  • Mix together mixture, cottage cheese, oats powder and salt, and chopped coriander.
  • Divide into small portions as desired and give shape, dust with oats powder.
  • In frying pan shallow fry cutlets with peanut oil till golden brown from both sides and become crisp.
  • Serve with mint chutney, tomato ketchup.
