ANURAG MATHUR had joined DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore as an Executive Chef in 2015 but has now taken over as a Rooms Division Manager. In his previous tenure, he was associated with Jaypee Hotels as an Executive Chef at Hotel Vasant Continental, Delhi.
In his new role, Anurag would be assisting the General Manager in running day to day procedures of the hotel and drive quality changes besides overlooking Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore is a full-service upscale hotel which comprises of a range of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites that are purpose-built to meet every guest’s needs, from transient business travellers to long stay guests.
Keeping this in mind, Anurag aims to provide customised services to the guests by creating small little touch points. The sole idea is to craft a difference between DoubleTree and the competition with the purpose that one happy guest brings in ten more guests. Mathur has already activated a few guest engagement activities like Long stayers cocktail, Personalised amenities, Celebrating milestone visits of guests in the hotel, Celebrating personal achievements of guests to name a few. This will ensure guest loyalty, giving a chance to tap new business.
An adept at planning and identifying new avenues and segments, Anurag Mathur has carved a niche for himself in the hospitality industry and brings to DoubleTree, his expertise in handling gamut of activities.
