ANDAAZ Restaurant, celebrated for its inventive take on Indian cuisine, has announced the appointment of Chef Mohammad Sameer as its new Executive Pastry Chef. With over a decade of expertise in pastry and bakery arts, he aims to elevate the dessert experience, enhancing the restaurant's reputation in New Jersey.

Chef Sameer began his culinary journey at the prestigious Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, where his passion for pastry earned him accolades such as Best Star Employee in Food Production (2014) and Employee of the Year (2015). Here, he honed his skills in bread-making, viennoiseries, and pastry specialties.
Later, at Andaz by Hyatt, New Delhi, he rose to the role of Sous Chef, excelling in team mentorship, menu innovation, and operational excellence. Chef Mohammad’s international experience includes pre-opening leadership roles in Saudi Arabia, where he shaped the culinary visions of prominent restaurants like Naya Daur and Vanguard.
At ANDAAZ Restaurant, Chef Sameer will craft a dessert menu that blends classical techniques with modern flavours, promising a refined and innovative addition to the dining experience. His dedication to creativity and quality marks an exciting new chapter for the restaurant.
