Sheraton New Delhi has introduced "THE ETHOS TREE," a Christmas tree that honours India's tribal arts. Standing 13 feet tall, the tree is constructed from sustainable bamboo and features vibrant patterns and motifs representing various tribal art forms, including Manjusha Art from Bihar, Cherial Scrolls from Telangana, and Kurumba and Paitkar paintings from Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand, respectively.
“For Sheraton New Delhi, this tree is a symbol of unity and resilience—a reminder that the beauty of the holiday season lies not just in celebration but in reflection. It invites everyone to marvel at the beauty of diversity, the power of sustainability, and the traditions that bring us all together.” “With this installation, we aim to bring attention to the beauty and importance of preserving these age-old art forms,” said Amit Kumar, Area Manager Welcomhotels North & General Manager Sheraton New Delhi.
The use of eco-friendly materials underscores the hotel’s commitment to sustainability while inviting guests to celebrate diversity and shared cultural traditions.
