Hyderabad Marriott Appoints Rahul Korgaokar as Director of Operations

By BW Hotelier RAHUL KORGAOKAR has been appointed as the Director of Operations at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad. He brings with him over 10 years of experience in the food and beverage department at full service and luxury hotels. Korgaokar started his career in 2003 at The Oberoi Mumbai as Restaurant Manager and his dedication and excellence was soon recognised. In his formative years in the industry, he has been instrumental in successfully launching and managing restaurants. He was also part of the pre-opening team of the first M-venpick Hotels & Resorts in India, located in Bangalore as Assistant F&B Manager. He joined the Marriott in 2013 as Director of Food & Beverage at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. After a successful two-and-a-half year stint, Korgaokar now joins Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad as Director of Operations. In his current role he will be responsible for operational excellence as well as revenue generation and profit maximization of both hotels. Rahul holds a certificate from WSET and is also a confirmed wine lover. In addition, apart from English, Hindi and his mother tongue Marathi, Rahul can also converse in French and German, and elementary Italian and Bengali.

Ghaiee began his career in hospitality in 2010 as the Director of Sales of the Hyderabad Marriott Hotel and thereafter moved on to JW Marriott Chandigarh as the Director of Sales & Marketing.
