Sipwise Beverages to Promote Herb Coolers With Health Benefits

SIPWISE BEVERAGES’ brand ‘What If’ offers natural ingredients like herbs and green tea. “A majority of green tea lovers consume green tea in blended form. There is a bigger population that stays away from green tea despite its numerous benefits because of its bitter aftertaste. Through ‘What If Green Tea Coolers’, we try and cater to both these segments. In ‘What If Herb Coolers’, we use herbs like brahmi, ashwagandha, gotu kola that are known to have benefits in cognition and de-stress. Our third brand ‘1947’ was formed with the idea to create a healthier energy drink made from natural caffeine extracted from tea and having a proprietary fibre called inulin,” he said.

With the current day demand, the functional and fortified beverage market is growing at an exponential pace at the global level. “Consumers no longer are taking their health for granted and that is clearly visible when we look at the changing consumption patterns across the globe. Not only consumers are opting out of sugar-heavy cola drinks but they are taking a step ahead and choosing health-centric drinks for their fortification. Because of the growing consciousness of health and nutrition among consumers, the demand for such products is escalating.”

To create awareness about the rising stress levels among youth, Mohan informed about his campaign called #CalmKaro and where ‘What If’ vending machine were installed in St. Xavier’s college, Mumbai during the Malhar fest. The vending machine experiment was unique because it measures the stress levels in the brain and dispenses a What If bottle only if you are 100% calm. The experiment was widely accepted by everyone as it promotes steps towards a healthy lifestyle. “We will be installing the What If vending machines in more cities in the coming months,” he said.

SipWise Beverages is funded through internal accruals from the parent company Scientific Remedies, India’s leading company in the pet food and pet healthcare segment. The products are available in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore; also at Big Basket, Grofers, Nature's Basket, Metro and Big Bazaar.
