Shangri-La Eros New Delhi unveils new Cantonese menu at Shang Palace

The menu features authentic flavours from the Sichuan, Cantonese and Yunnan regions

Experience a Cantonese culinary journey as Shangri-La Eros New Delhi has unveiled a refined new menu at its restaurant, Shang Palace. Diners can explore authentic flavours from the Sichuan, Cantonese and Yunnan regions through a diverse range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialities. From classic favourites to innovative creations, the menu promises a culinary journey through a variety of food traditions.
 
Shang Palace’s expansive interiors and private dining spaces set the stage for an experience featuring a diverse array of dishes to suit all tastes and occasions. Guests can savour a medley of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dim sums. Each dish in the extensive dim sum selection is crafted to showcase the pinnacle of Cantonese culinary expertise. The BBQ Kitchen features premier offerings such as the Beijing Roast Duck with Caviar, while the Cantonese BBQ Platter presents a selection of succulent meats. The Honey Glazed BBQ Pork, with its sweet and savoury profile.  

Appetiser selection at Shang Palace caters to all tastes. Non-vegetarians can savour the smoky BBQ Chicken Skewers or indulge in Sauna Prawns. Vegetarians can enjoy the Sichuan Asparagus and Spring Onion Pancake, offering a spicy crunch, and the Wood Ear Mushroom Salad with Soy Garlic. Guests can also warm up with an assortment of comforting soups such as the classic Tomato Egg Drop Soup and the adventurous Crossing the Bridge Yunnan Noodle Soup. The Rooted in Nature programme champions local and sustainable ingredients, from soul-warming Free-Range Chicken Clear Soup to vibrant Stir-fried Hydroponic Bok Choy and Kale, each dish tells a story of eco-friendly practices.

Shang Palace's main course offers a selection of flavours for all such as the Beggar’s Whole Chicken and Butter Garlic Whole Crab, served with Golden Fried Mantou, Lobster Mapo Tofu. Vegetarians can indulge in Mapo Bean Curd Sichuan-style, Yunnan-style Asian vegetables with Pickled Chilli Garlic Sauce and the Wok-fried French Beans with Black Bean Chilli Sauce provides a perfect balance of crunch and spice. Accompanying the main courses is a varied selection of Rice and Noodles. The Fried Rice with Garlic, Asparagus, Corn and Lettuce, the Hot Stone Pot Rice with Crispy Potato, Pickled Chilli and Yunnan Chilli Sauce.

Diners can also enjoy desserts such as the Manjari Chocolate Popsicle, the Sticky Date Pudding, a collection of gelatos and sorbets round off the dessert offerings, ensuring a refreshing end to the meal. Throughout the menu, guests will find themselves captivated by the harmonious blend of traditional and innovative flavours, expertly crafted to create a memorable dining experience.
