The wait is over for spice lovers in Mumbai, as Nando’s, the globally renowned flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken restaurant, makes its debut in the city. Originating from South Africa, Nando’s is celebrated for its bold and fiery flavours, crafted with African Bird’s Eye Chilli.
With ambitious expansion plans, Nando’s will open five Casas, the Portuguese word for “home” and Nando’s term for its restaurants across Mumbai. Locations include the bustling Terminal 2 at Mumbai Airport and several prominent shopping malls. This comes on the heels of Nando’s success in Delhi and the warm reception to its newly launched restaurant in Hyderabad.
“We’re confident that Mumbai will love Nando’s signature flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, burgers, veggie dishes, and more”, said Karan Kapur, Executive Director for K Hospitality Corp, Nando’s joint-venture partner in India. “But in true Nando’s style, there is a lot more to it than just the chicken. Our vibrant Afro-Portuguese heritage comes alive in every aspect of the guest experience. From Southern African inspired restaurant design, décor and art, to curated Afro-Luso music, and everything in between.”
