Marriott International has appointed Ritesh Kumar Sinha as the new Director of Engineering for its properties in Kolkata. Sinha brings significant experience in hospitality engineering management, having previously served as the Director of Engineering at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, overseeing infrastructure operations. His past roles also include Chief Engineer at JW Marriott Mussoorie and Swissotel Kolkata, along with Deputy Chief Engineer at Taj Hotels in Kolkata.
Sinha began his career as an Assistant Manager at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, later working at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts in Chennai. He holds a BTech in Engineering from Amravati University and completed his early education at St. Xavier’s School in Patna.
In his new position, Ritesh will manage engineering operations across Marriott's Kolkata locations, focusing on safety, efficiency, and guest comfort, while promoting sustainable practices.
