Shangri-La Eros New Delhi has announced an exclusive culinary event celebrating the rich flavours of Uttarakhand. The hotel's renowned international cuisine restaurant, Tamra will host the event from August 8 - August 10, 2024 featuring the cuisine of Uttarakhand, curated by the Chef Yojana Khanduri Chaudhary.
Chef Yojana, known for her passion for authenticity and culinary innovation brings the traditional flavours of her Himalayan roots to the event. Her creations offer a unique fusion of aromatic spices, fresh ingredients, and time-honoured cooking techniques that reflect the essence of Uttarakhand’s culinary heritage.
The culinary journey will begins with the comforting warmth of Patudi, a mini Dal Cheela. Afterwards, guests can then indulge in the aromatic Bhaang Sookha Chicken, a dish that is rich in earthy flavours and sure to satisfy the palate. The feast concludes with Lal Bhaat and a selection of traditional sweets, including Jhangore Ki Kheer and Mandue Ka Halwa, offering a sweet finale to this dining experience.
The event is part of the Chef Pin pop-up series, a platform that brings together home chefs and expert chefs to showcase regional cuisines to a broader audience. It is India’s leading platform for home chefs, operates across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, offering diners access to authentic, home-cooked meals from talented chefs. Founded by food industry veterans Rocky Mohan and Siddharth Mohan, it aims to organise and uplift the home chef market in India.
