Anantara has appointed hotelier Pitak ‘Chin’ Norathepkitti as General Manager of Anantara Chiang Mai Resort. This role will see Norathepkitti at the helm of one the brand’s international award-winning properties.
Norathepkitti, a Thai national who holds a Master of Arts in Tourism, joins Anantara Chiang Mai from Siem Reap in Cambodia where he oversaw Anantara Angkor Resort for the last two years. Prior to Anantara, Norathepkitti rose through the ranks to become Cluster General Manager at Sofitel Luang Prabang and 3 Nagas Luang Prabang, Laos.
Commenting on his appointment, he said, “I am incredibly excited by this new appointment at Anantara’s beautiful flagship resort in Chiang Mai. I look forward to working closely with the team to deliver outstanding northern Thai hospitality and will continue to build on its position as one of the destination’s leading resorts.”
Previously, Norathepkitti held various executive management roles at some of the most respected and storied luxury hotels in his hometown of Bangkok. His experience across many hospitality sectors such as hospitality management and commercial operations equips him with a holistic approach to hotelkeeping and forms the basis of his intrinsic understanding of all elements of the industry.
