Pride Hotels Group celebrated its Founder’s Day with enthusiastic festivities across all its properties, combined with impactful CSR initiatives. The day marks a significant occasion as it commemorates both the birthday of S P Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Pride Hotels Group, and the founding anniversary of the group’s first property, Pride Hotel Pune.
The group has since grown into one of India’s most trusted hospitality brands, and the celebration serves as a reflection of its journey in delivering excellence across the country’s hospitality sector. As part of the Founder’s Day celebrations, Pride Hotels Group introduced the A.S.P.I.R.E ED Programme, a new initiative aimed at addressing the talent gap in the hospitality industry. The Advance Skills Programme in Real-time Excellence in Education and Development (A.S.P.I.R.E ED) is designed to empower young individuals who have completed their 12 grade but have been unable to pursue higher education or enter the hospitality field.
The programme provides individuals, aged 18 years and above, with a structured curriculum focused on education, skill development, and hands-on practical training over three months, preparing them for entry-level positions within the hospitality sector.
The programme will be led by Jayesh Wadher, Culture and Talent Head, and Shailendra Dharme, Learning and Development Head of Pride Hotels Group. Their expertise will help shape a comprehensive learning experience that equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the industry. The programme aligns with the group’s vision of creating a sustainable talent pipeline that not only meets immediate needs but also contributes to the future growth of the hospitality industry.
S P Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Pride Hotels Group, stated, “The A.S.P.I.R.E ED Programme reflects our commitment to empowering young professionals with the skills necessary to succeed in the hospitality industry. By offering structured education and training, we are helping to build a future generation of leaders who will uphold the values of excellence, service, and innovation that are at the core of Pride Hotels.”
The group’s long-standing reputation for quality service and guest satisfaction has cemented its place as one of the most trusted names in Indian hospitality. The launch of the A.S.P.I.R.E ED Programme is an extension of its commitment to community development and industry growth. Through this initiative, the group aims to address the shortage of skilled professionals in hospitality by creating a robust talent pool of well-trained individuals. The programme is designed to equip participants with practical, industry-specific knowledge, ensuring they are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the sector.
Atul Upadhyay, Executive Vice President of Pride Hotels Group, added, “The A.S.P.I.R.E ED Programme is a key initiative as Pride Hotels Group continues to expand. We recognize the need for fresh talent with vibrant ideas and new perspectives to invigorate the hospitality industry. This programme is designed to nurture and cultivate that talent, helping bring innovative ideas into the sector. By fostering creativity and equipping young professionals with the right skills, we are confident this initiative will not only benefit the participants but also infuse the industry with fresh energy and innovation."
