Khushnooma Kapadia promoted as Vice President - Marketing, South Asia, Marriott International Inc

Marriott International Inc has promoted Khushnooma Kapadia as Vice President - Marketing, South Asia. In her newly elevated role, she will continue to lead South Asia’s marketing and digital strategy, amplifying brand awareness and growing loyalty and partnerships in South Asia. 

Kapadia began her journey with Marriott International in 2004 as the Marketing and Communication Manager at JW Marriott Juhu. In 2017, she was promoted as Area Director of Marketing, driving the portfolio’s marketing and brand positioning roadmap, establishing partnerships and leading integrated strategic campaigns to grow the company’s business priorities. Her passion for creativity and deep understanding of the media landscape are reflected in the campaigns, initiatives and achievements in South Asia. 

Kapadia’s leadership has resulted in significant market share growth as well as growing and strengthening the portfolio of brands across South Asia. Notably, she continues to build and accelerate the digital services organisation in the region. Her experience, thorough knowledge and grasp on marketing has resulted in establishing a team that continues to pursue excellence through creativity, passion and cutting-edge ideation. At present, she oversees a team of over 100 marketing communication professionals, across 16 brands and 156 operational hotels in South Asia. 

In an impressive career spanning 22 years, Kapadia has worked with renowned organisations both in the finance (Arthur Anderson) and communications sector (Good Relations Pvt Ltd). Articulate, intelligent, transparent and highly self-motivated, she encourages a healthy work-life balance and continues to reinvent, push boundaries and set new benchmarks in the business and marketing arena.
