Hyatt Regency Delhi appoints Gaurav Chandna as Director of Operations

Hyatt Regency Delhi has appointed Gaurav Chandna as Director of Operations. In his new role, Chandna will be responsible for overseeing all-round hotel operations, identifying, and strategising new revenue streams for the hotel, branding and asset management, facilitating operational growth and innovating upon solutions that elevate guest experiences.

Chandna began his professional journey in the hospitality industry nearly 17 years ago when he went onto earn a degree in hotel management from Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BCIHM), Delhi. Over these years, he has proven his dexterity in every role. A driven and a skilled leader, Chandna has grown through the ranks at Hyatt Regency Delhi and has gained invaluable experience by undertaking diverse tasks and assignments.

Prior to this role, Chandna was heading the post of Director of Food and Beverages at Hyatt Regency Delhi where he was responsible for overseeing all food and beverages operations including banquet spaces, outdoor events, in-room dining, home delivery and the award-winning restaurants. He has played a key role in helping the hotel set a benchmark of excellence in dining and ensuring that the quality and service is in line with Hyatt’s international brand standards.
