Grand Hyatt Gurgaon appoints Andreas Fuchs as F&B Director

The Grand Hyatt Gurgaon has appointed Andreas Fuchs as its Director of Food and Beverage. Bringing a wealth of culinary experience from around the world, Fuchs is poised to elevate the dining and beverage offerings at the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon.

Fuchs embarked on his culinary journey in Austria where he completed his culinary apprenticeship. His impressive career has taken him to prestigious establishments across culinary capitals such as Paris, London and Tokyo, including renowned venues like Harrods Knightsbridge, Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt Shanghai, and the Grand Hyatt.

During his tenure at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Fuchs displayed exceptional leadership skills, overseeing multiple restaurants and bars while managing a diverse range of events. He also played a crucial role during the pre-opening phase of Mandarin Oriental Sanya, China, showcasing his ability to excel in strategic planning and execution.

Notably, while at Harrods Knightsbridge Ltd in London, Fuchs led a team of chefs across more than thirty-six food outlets, introducing innovative dining options and establishing a successful apprenticeship collaboration with Westminster College. Fuchs expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, stating, "Having been with Hyatt for over 13 years and witnessing its unwavering commitment to quality in food and beverage, my time in Tokyo gave me a glimpse of Indian cuisine through a friend, and I developed a fondness for dishes like masala dosa, mutton curry, and biryani. Transitioning from the kitchen to heading the service team marks a new phase in my Hyatt journey."

In his new role as Director of Food and Beverage at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, Fuchs will oversee the refinement of food and beverage services, enhance market positioning, provide comprehensive team training, and elevate the overall guest experience.
