Courtyard By Marriott, Ahmedabad-Ramdevnagar appoints Deep Preet Bindra as GM
Winner of the BW HOTELIER Indian Hospitality Awards 2020 as the Hotel Manager of the Year Award-South Zone, Deep Preet Bindra recently joins Courtyard By Marriott, Ahmedabad-Ramdevnagar as the General Manager.
Bindra began his journey as a management trainee at the financial services corporation American Express. After that, he entered the hospitality sector in 2008 with his entry at The Oberoi Hotels and Resort.
After two years, in 2010, he worked with Westin Gurgaon and Westin Sohna Resort and Spa as the director of sales for complex properties. Later, he joined Marriott International and has been donning multiple hats in the company since then.
Deep Preet Bindra has worked with brands such as JW Marriott at Aerocity in New Delhi and Marriott Whitefield in Bengaluru. His exposure to different roles in Marriott International and other brands has helped him ace his field of work. Under his leadership, Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield achieved revenue growth across various channels and hence, emerged as a market leader in ADR, OCC & guestVoice.
An alumnus of Khalsa College in Delhi, Bindra pursued his post-graduation in business management from Indraprastha University. His passion reflects in his journey as a hotelier as he transitioned successfully from Director of Sales & Marketing to Director of Operations role in his last assignment at the Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield.
At Courtyard By Marriott, Ahmedabad - Ramdevnagar, he will lead the team to bolster the hotel’s position and make it a success in Ahmedabad’s market.
A practitioner of collaborative work to achieve operational efficiency, Deep Bindra charts out efficient business strategies and ensures that his team is dynamic and motivated. An avid reader and an explorative traveller, he values spending quality time with his wife and daughters in his leisure time.
