Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched its trademark collection brand in South Korea with the inauguration of La Vie D’or Hotel and Resort in Hwaseong-si. This opening brings the total number of Wyndham hotels in the country to over 30, contributing to nearly 20 trademark properties across the Asia Pacific region.
The La Vie D’or Hotel and Resort features a nine-hole golf course, diverse dining options, and a range of leisure amenities, catering to business and leisure travellers. Its proximity to key urban centres like Seoul and Suwon and access to major corporate hubs position the hotel as an appealing venue for corporate events and tourism.
Joon Aun OOI, President, Asia Pacific, Wyndham Hotels & Resort commented, “Hotel owners in Asia Pacific continue to see the benefits of the Wyndham Advantage—global brand exposure, innovative technology, a growing loyalty base and more. Introducing Trademark to South Korea helps independent owners maximise their opportunity in the market while delivering the incredibly unique experiences each Trademark hotel offers guests exploring the country.”
The introduction of this hotel aligns with the rising demand for travel in South Korea, which welcomed around 11 million international visitors in 2023, as the government continues to focus on boosting the tourism sector. This strategic expansion underscores Wyndham's commitment to delivering unique experiences while supporting independent hotel owners in maximising market opportunities.
