Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport has appointed Chef Siddique as the new Master Chef at Ummrao, its fine-dining Indian restaurant specialising in Awadhi cuisine. With over 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Siddique is set to elevate Ummrao’s reputation for authentic regional flavours.
Chef Siddique’s culinary journey began at the age of 19 in a renowned local restaurant. He went on to hold prominent roles at acclaimed establishments, including Radisson’s Kabab Factory and ITC’s Kabab and Curry, before joining Marriott in 2016. His expertise has shone at signature restaurants like Saffron at JW Juhu, Sahib Room at St. Regis, and Wok & Curry at Sheraton.
Chef Siddique expressed his enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “I am honoured to join the team at Ummrao, Courtyard by Marriott. I look forward to elevating the customers' dining experience by curating cuisines that are both authentic and innovative.
