Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) have achieved the prestigious GreenKey certification, reaffirming their commitment to sustainable hospitality. The recognition, awarded by Dr Jagat Mangaraj, National Operator of Green Key India, was received by John Paul, Director of Engineering and Environmental Manager, on behalf of General Manager Rubin Cherian.

GreenKey, an internationally acclaimed eco-label, is managed in India by the Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Ahmedabad, under the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). This certification underscores the property’s dedication to environmental excellence and sustainable practices, setting it apart as a leader in India’s tourism industry.
The property’s initiatives include offering remineralized premium atmospheric drinking water in reusable glass bottles, reducing single-use plastics, and promoting sustainable water consumption. Additionally, the hotel features extensive green spaces that support biodiversity, enhancing the natural environment and guest experiences.
