The Westin Mumbai, Garden City has appointed Viral Jasani as Director of Human Resources. Jasani brings over 18 years of rich and extensive experience in Human Resource Management (HRM) across diverse regions, skills, disciplines, levels and domains.

Jasani is recognised as an achievement-driven Senior HR Professional with a focus on optimal resource utilisation. He has directed teams for manpower planning, sourcing, structuring and restructuring. His strategic mindset and proficiency in anticipating HR needs have contributed to the successful formulation and implementation of new policies aligned with long-term business objectives.

Jasani holds a Bachelor in Hotel & Hospitality Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) – Mumbai and his work experience includes various assignments at Marriott International (Courtyard by Marriott Pune Chakan, Marriott Area Office - South Asia, Sheraton Grand Pune, Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway). Prior to joining Marriott in 2013, Jasani held positions at The Lalit Mumbai, HMS Host, The Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (Taj Hotels), and The Resort.
