To spearhead diverse critical functions from Projects and Purchasing to Accounts and Sales and Marketing

Radisson Blu Palace Resort and Spa, Udaipur has elevated Poonam Nair as Vice President ‒ Commercials. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing integral functions such as Projects, Purchasing, Accounts, and Sales and Marketing. Additionally, she will continue to focus on business development and exploring growth opportunities by working closely with high-revenue-generating domains, including F&B, banquet, spa and transportation.

Nair's association with the brand spans over a decade. Beginning her journey at the property as Sales Head for Gujarat, she later assumed the role of VP of Sales and Marketing. Under her leadership, the palace has witnessed significant transformation and unprecedented growth, solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for weddings and diverse kinds of events. Nair orchestrated the successful execution of numerous high-profile events like the GST and G20 Summits, several car launches, award functions, MICE events etc. Her accomplishments resulted in Radisson Blu Palace Resort and Spa, Udaipur, receiving accolades from prominent industry forums such as the Best Destination Wedding and Best MICE Hotel in the region.

A seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience, Nair has gained invaluable expertise across both Operations and Sales domains. Her career journey commenced as a Management Trainee in Leela Mumbai, followed by being the youngest Bar Manager at Westin Mumbai Garden City. After this, she was appointed as the youngest Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Orchid Mumbai where she headed a formidable team of 130 professionals amid the bustling environs of an airport hotel.
