AFTER graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai, Kalra started his career with the Taj Management Training Program. He began his journey in the Food and Beverage space and worked across various markets during his stint with the Taj Group.
He later moved to The Westin Hotel, Mumbai, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he was responsible for the food & beverage operations. Prior to his current appointment with JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, he was the Director of Food & Beverages at Taj Coromandel, Chennai.
Kalra has an enthusiastic persona and keeps himself abreast with the latest innovations in the hospitality industry. His experience with the Taj and Starwood properties has given him great exposure in handling multi-faceted roles. His noteworthy leadership skills, insightful knowledge and zeal to learn has helped him built a strong operational background in the Food and Beverage sector.
Apart from his passion for food and hospitality, he enjoys traveling, driving and riding.
