Pacific Hospitality has appointed Pavan Kumar as its new Vice President of Operations. With over 16 years of extensive experience in the international hospitality industry, he aims to bring his strategic leadership and expertise to the group’s growing portfolio.

Kumar’s career spans key roles at renowned establishments, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, and Dusit Thani Hotel. His background in senior food and beverage management includes skills in revenue maximisation, operational excellence, and adapting to international markets.

In his new role, Kumar will oversee Pacific Hospitality’s food and beverage operations across its multiple restaurants in Hyderabad, including Farzi Café, AIDU, and Noho. He will be responsible for implementing standard operating procedures, leading new restaurant openings, and driving revenue through innovative promotions and strategic planning.

Throughout his career, Kumar has achieved notable milestones, such as leading pre-openings for Mövenpick JBR in Dubai, Dusit Thani in Abu Dhabi, and the Westin Hotel & Spa in Doha. His contributions to the industry have been recognized with awards like “Best Italian Restaurant” from Times Food Nightlife Awards and “Best Wine Destination” from India Wine Awards.
