IHG Hotels & Resorts announces Cyber Sale with major discounts

Whether you’re planning a spontaneous holiday, a spring vacation, or looking for the perfect gift of travel for a loved one, IHG Hotels & Resorts is launching its anticipated annual Cyber Sale, offering an exciting opportunity for travellers to save up to 25 per cent on stays worldwide through April 2025. With more than 6,000 properties across the globe, IHG provides a wide range of options for all kinds of getaways.

The sale offers special savings to IHG members, who will receive a 25 per cent discount on stays at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts properties worldwide. These stays must be completed by April 30, 2025, making it the ideal time for travellers to book future trips and lock in lower rates. Non-members can also benefit from the sale, enjoying discounts of up to 17 per cent on bookings made between November 20 and December 3, 2024. Like their membership counterparts, all stays for non-members must be completed by the end of April 2025. For those who haven’t yet signed up for IHG One Rewards, there’s an additional perk: new app users will earn 500 bonus points when they download the app and join the loyalty program. This initiative not only boosts the rewards points balance of members but also opens up additional perks and savings.

For those looking for an even more significant discount, IHG One Rewards members can enjoy up to 40 per cent off at select Iberostar Beachfront Resorts across Mexico, the Caribbean, Spain, and other locations. This offer is valid for bookings made between November 21 and December 3, 2024, and most stays must be completed by December 20, 2025. In addition to great travel deals, IHG is also offering its members a chance to give back during the holiday season. In honour of Giving Tuesday, IHG is supporting its global charity partner, Action Against Hunger, by encouraging IHG One Rewards members to contribute to the fight against malnutrition. From December 3 to December 10, 2024, IHG will match donations made by members up to a total of 10 million IHG One Rewards points. These donations will help fund efforts to combat malnutrition and provide nutritious meals to children in need. For example, a donation of 10,000 IHG One Rewards points can screen around 124 children for malnutrition, while 7,500 points can provide a malnourished child with nutritious food for six weeks, helping them regain their health. This initiative allows travellers to make a positive impact while taking advantage of the great deals available through the Cyber Sale.
