New leadership appointments at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts

Sarovar Hotels has appointed Cdr Siddhartha Gargori (Retd) as the Corporate Director, Engineering and Suranjit Sengupta as Corporate Director, F&B.

Cdr Siddhartha Gargori (Retd) served the Indian Navy for over 21 years and holds extensive experience in project and program management, with a focus on technical and green field infrastructure projects. His career includes eight years of active sea service on various Indian Naval warships, where he effectively managed the maintenance and operation of electrical and weapon equipment and machinery.

In addition to his professional achievements, Cdr Siddhartha has demonstrated a passion for training, serving as an Instructor to guide cadet officers in various aspects of military training to prepare them as future officers of the Indian Navy.

Cdr Siddhartha is a graduate of the Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji, Lonavala, holding a B Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and an Executive Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.

Suranjit Sengupta has joined as Corporate Director - F&B. With 18 years of experience, including a decade at Marriott International in key positions such as Hotel Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Jodhpur and Director of Food & Beverage at the JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, Sengupta brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He has also made significant contributions to Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golf Links and Taj Krishna Hyderabad in Banqueting operations.
