MEHTA is also expected to build and maintain relationships with key business partners, including travel agents, wedding planners, as well as conference and event organisers. She will be involved in promoting the hotels and resorts that are managed by Hilton in India.
Mehta comes with a strong experience in the hospitality industry spanning over 16 years where she has worked with global brands, managing pre-opening of hotels, unit properties and domestic and outbound sales. She also has a rich understanding of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) and Travel Trade segments.
Hilton employs more than 2,500 people in India across its 15 operating hotels and corporate office. The company is creating thousands of new jobs in India through its pipeline of 18 hotels that are under development, including the forthcoming Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow and Conrad Bengaluru, which will open later this year.
