HOME introduces new winter menu

The menu curated by Chef Sarah Todd, Chef Yutaka Saito, and Mixologist Santanu Chanda offers a blend of Japanese culinary and Mediterranean influences

The diverse Indian palate is acquiring new tastes from all around the globe. As the seasonal changes start to occur, the need for unique and innovative changes also rises. The cold and harsh winter demands for much softer, compact and warm meals.

HOME, the premier dining and live entertainment club in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, has unveiled its newly curated winter menu. A remarkable collaboration between celebrated Chef Sarah Todd and Japanese culinary expert Chef Yutaka Saito, the menu promises to redefine fine dining at HOME with a unique fusion of global flavours, local ingredients, and refined techniques. Complementing the culinary experience is a world-class cocktail menu curated by the renowned Mixologist Santanu Chanda.

Commenting on the launch, Chef Yutaka said, “Our winter menu is the perfect embodiment of two distinct culinary philosophies – the elegance of Japanese techniques and the vibrant flavours of local ingredients. It’s a reflection of our commitment to offering a truly extraordinary dining experience.”

The winter menu showcases a balance of seasonal ingredients, sourced both locally and internationally. Signature dishes such as the Miso-Glazed Barramundi and Sakura-Smoked Chicken Thighs reflect a combination of Japanese precision and bold Indian flavours.

Chef Sarah added, “The new food menu promises a sensory journey that harmoniously combines Japanese culinary artistry with Mediterranean influences. Working alongside Chef Yutaka Saito and the incredibly talented team at HOME has been an inspiring experience. Together, we've created a menu that I believe truly celebrates the best of both worlds – refined, flavorful, and exciting for the palate."

New additions, including the Charcoal-Grilled Octopus with Lemon-Herbed Couscous and Saffron-Infused Risotto with Roasted Vegetables, further elevate the menu’s offerings, with Mediterranean influences adding depth and variety.

Mixologist Chanda’s cocktail programme complements the menu with a selection of signature drinks inspired by global cultures. The Kyoto Sour and Mediterranean Breeze are just a few examples of cocktails designed to enhance the dining experience with their rich narratives and bold flavours. “Our cocktails are crafted to tell a story,” said Chanda. “Each drink is inspired by our travels and created to perfectly complement the flavours of the new menu.”

Chef Sarah shed light on the rigorous curation process, she stated, “It's very experimental, we start off with concepts and ideas of dishes and then we get in the kitchen and we just start playing around with the flavours. It's pretty fun actually, because three different brains are working together, we have our own experiences and knowledge on food. The flavours are familiar to me and I cook a lot of Japanese cuisine and have learned a lot from those trips as well. India obviously has those bold flavours. So I think that the palette for Japanese cuisine is actually there and people enjoy it in India. So, playing around with those flavours has been something really fun to do.”
