With over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Grand Mercure Bengaluru Gopalan Mall is all set to welcome Ram Shetty as its new General Manager, to oversee the hotel's operations, ensuring the highest levels of guest engagement and profitability. Before joining Grand Mercure, Shetty managed Sheraton Hyderabad, a 272-key property, where he served as Hotel Manager. During his tenure, Shetty spearheaded actions that led to significant growth in various metrics.

Under his leadership, Sheraton Hyderabad saw a substantial increase in food and beverage revenue, overall revenue, and gross operating profit. Additionally, guest satisfaction and associate engagement scores improved markedly. Shetty's career also includes his role as Multi-Property Hotel Manager for Fairfield Sriperumbudur and Fairfield OMR Chennai. His strategic approach earned him multiple awards for outstanding leadership. 

Other notable positions in his career include Director of Hotel Operations at Sheraton Hyderabad, Director of Rooms at Novotel Kolkata, and Front Office Manager at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace.
