With a career spanning three decades in the hospitality industry, Shafee Ahmed has been appointed as the new Cluster General Manager at Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa. Ahmed is known for his passion for creating memorable customer experiences, which he believes is the essence of true hospitality.

Ahmed's journey in the hospitality industry began after he graduated from a hotel management school, starting his career as a chef at Holiday Inn, Bangalore. His expertise in this area led him to hold key positions in sales and marketing at hotels such as Raintree, Asiana and K Raheja Hotels in Chennai and South India.

Establishing himself as a successful entrepreneur, Ahmed has launched his hospitality brand, Purpletree. His entrepreneurial spirit extended to mentoring and consulting for aspiring business investors, helping them navigate the complexities of starting their own hospitality ventures.
