Amit Sachdeva Appointed as Hotel Manager for Two Marriott Properties

AN ENTREPRENEURIAL hotelier by heart, Sachdeva joins Renaissance Mumbai with an experience of over 17  years in the hospitality industry and enjoys the fast pace, ever changing environment that the industry throws up each day. Throughout his career, his people management abilities have made him proficient in heading multi-cultural teams across brands. He has worked with prestigious hospitality groups such as Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, AccorHotels, The Imperial, New Delhi, Starwood Hotels and Carlson Rezidor Hotels through various brands across India.

Sachdeva was most recently with AccorHotels in Bengaluru where he was serving as the Hotel Manager for Ibis and Novotel Bengaluru Techpark. He is known to be a result driven professional who is extremely passionate about all aspects of hotel functions from shop floor operations, recruitment, training, sales, and marketing, revenue generation to CSR activities.

After attaining his Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Chandigarh, he has been actively participating in various training programs under the AccorHotels and Starwood Brand. In a bid to be abreast of the market scenarios in the world of Hospitality, he has undertaken certificate courses with prestigious institutes such as Franklin Covey Institute, Cornell University of Hotel Administration along with Académie  Accor and Accor Business Campus.

An avid reader, he loves reading books and novels ranging from an eclectic mix of genres including fiction, science, technology, and mythology. He is also a music lover and a motorcycle enthusiast who loves traveling during his leisure time. He is a proud member of the HOG brotherhood, also an active member of the Bikers Gourmet Club, Bangalore.
