Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President for South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group will be the eminent speaker at the eighth edition of the BW Hotelier Indian Hospitality Awards (IHA) 2024. With over 25 years of experience, Sharma is a prominent figure in the hospitality industry, leading Radisson’s operations across South Asia, which includes overseeing more than 165 hotels in both operation and development.
His career highlights include key leadership roles at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where he was Market Managing Director for Eurasia, and as Chief Operating Officer at Ginger Hotels, part of the TATA Group. He was also a founding member of Lemon Tree Hotels, one of India’s fastest-growing upscale hotel brands. His expertise lies in business development, operational turnaround, and innovative project management, making him a key leader driving growth and transformation in the hospitality sector.
In his current role, Sharma is not only focussed on expanding Radisson’s footprint across emerging markets but also on fostering sustainability and inclusivity within the industry. His strategic initiatives aim to open 30 new hotels annually, tapping into both tier-I and tier-II cities while promoting environmental and social responsibility.
