Voltas Waghodia plant operations begin

Voltas announces the commencement of operations at their plant in Waghodia. The 32-acre site will manufacture a wide range of HVAC&R equipment, ranging between 2TR and 2000TR meant for Commercial Buildings, Public & Industrial Infrastructure. It also houses superior Psychrometric laboratories and AHRI certified testing beds for Chillers.  

The new facility is situated within Siddhi Industrial Infrastructure Park, Gujarat and will tap the existing market for speciality components, contributing to the economic prosperity of the region and promote local employment opportunities as well, the company said.

Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, packaged air conditioners (PAC), ductable split units (DSU), chiller packages (CHP), and air handling units (AHU) are the products manufactured at the Waghodia unit. The air-conditioner manufacturer plans to procure its input requirements from suppliers located within a radius of 75 KM.
